Loan Officers are heavily involved in one of the biggest purchases a person makes in a lifetime. You can only imagine (as you might have been there once yourself) that everything about the purchase transaction looms large and frightening for the borrower. Mild-mannered people can turn into screaming monsters if anything goes wrong, and there are so many things that can hold up a loan without notice.
The newspapers are full these days with highlighted visibility on foreclosures. People actually losing their homes because of choices made at the application table. As industry providers, we do understand that some of the finger pointing toward professionals in our industry can fall on the shoulders of loan officers. This is requiring all of us to really know and understand the products we match our borrowers with and a new awareness of our responsibility as loan officers.
Mortgage By Design works diligently at maintaining a stellar reputation for its Loan Officers. Integrity and having a heart to “give back “ to our community are at the top of the list. Our combined employees at Mortgage By Design have a 20-year average in the financial services industry. We even have one individual that has been in the mortgage industry almost 40 years! Therefore, knowledge of the industry and care for the clients and customers are a priority with our Loan Officers.
We are a team-driven company. We work and play well together as we know one interacts with the other in the lending business. Our clients come from our sphere of influence in both our social and work environment. This means, we want to attract proactive individuals who enjoys working with people of like mind.
We don’t offer a training program for Loan Officers. We are looking to hire experienced and seasoned loan officers who are looking to land with a company who will be here tomorrow and are backed by a large and profitable local bank. We provide a great office environment with some types of marketing support and the best processing staff in the community. We’re located in a new office building that is in the heart of Puyallup, making it easy for your customers to find the office. The products and rates are as competitive as you will find anywhere, and the underwriting is our strongest suit!
We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals with their own data base and pool of Realtor and Builder clients. We won’t promise you the moon, but we will promise that you’ll have support and encouragement along the way with a company that is focused on helping you continue to build your business.
